I bought the mailbug from Amazon for my boyfriend who wanted to be able to e-mail without the headaches of using a computer.He loves the mailbug and it's easy to use instructions.Great gift for someone who is not a computer person.
I purchased this for my mother for Christmas and she loves it. Very easy to use.
A great product for our 81 year old Mother. was excellent during the entire hook up process. We set it up for her in just a few minutes. The customer service dept. We couldn't be happier. She is thrilled to be in touch with her far-away grandchildren.
Because I am deaf and unable to use the telephone all my communication with my children is done by email I needed an alternate mail method for times that the internet is down or having atemper tamtrum. The Mailbug fits the bill admirably. I can't say enough about it.
I had to call several times and let it ring. I did not have time to tutor her on sending email.a little harder than reading.Will catch that next time.
It works for her because you have to push 3 buttons with the words written on a screen below to view email. Mailbug is for my 86 yr old mom.
The viewing screen is small; but works. Her unsteady fingers can still work it to read my emails from out of the country.
It is best to write 2 short emails to keep from having to scroll too far (just an up and a down button). 1 tiny problem was getting the 'set up' phone number to answer.
However, the representative was veyr nice.
